Revised 2013 May 01
These are so handy in the freezer particularly for those desperate days when you've resorted to the can opener and tinned soup.
2 teaspoons mustard powder
1 teaspoon laos
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon nutmeg
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon sambal oelek
Mix well and form into balls (whatever size suits either your fancy or purpose).
Line a sheet pan with foil or use a silicone baking sheet (better).
Bake at 350°For 30 to 50 minutes depending on the size (1" diameter balls take 35 - 40 minutes)
* usually pork and beef in equal measure but there's no rule
Can be frozen anywhere from raw to completely cooked depending on how you wanted to use them but I've found that cooked is easier to store.
