Makes a nice light, very thin cake. the original recipe purported to serve 6. I don't know anyone who could eat so few of these delicious cakes.
5 tablespoons yogurt
milk to fill 3 cups, including the eggs
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup white flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons sugar
fat for frying
Pour the milk and eggs over the sifted dry ingredients and stir till the batter is lumpy-smooth. Fry at 350°F.
Added yogurt in place of a little milk.Serve with blueberry infused maple syrup and sausages. Be sure to have a few berries to sprinkle over everything.
