Ingredients
1 cup basmati rice
1 cup whole kernel corn
dash salt and pepper
8 ounces passata
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
1 pound ground beef
dash salt and pepper
14.5 ounces tomatoes
4 strips bacon
1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Gouda cheese, shredded

Preparation
Thoroughly wash and drain the rice
Microwave the bacon on high for two minutes, Cut into 1 inch pieces
Layer the ingredients in a buttered 1 1/2- to 2-quart casserole in the order given. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
Uncover and cook 30 minutes longer, until bacon is crisp. Top the casserole with the shredded cheese the last 10 to 15 minutes.
